MAY 14 2009 BLOG-BEAST REVIEW FROM 3-25-09

Well my total discription of the book the ''THE BEAST'' is that it is a great book. I really liked the book it was a very good book and it kept me interested. When i first started reading the book i didnt get it at first until i really got into it. Once i started to get to like chapter 6 that is when i started to get real into the book. When i read that he was going to school in another place somewhere outside NewYork and he had to leave his girlfriend it made mhe think like what is she going to do while he is gone. Plus especially her mother was very sick and she was dying. Just dealing with all of that is painful. Its like everyone she truly loves is going out her life and they aint going to be there when she really need them. This book was very sad and i just felt like crying. The part where i couldnt believe was when Spoon girlfriend Gabby started doing drugs that was just so crazy. It was like painful because she was such a good person and she had so many good things going for her. Like her going to a good college and her being able to become somthing and doing something with her life. Its like she threw all of that away and it was very sad. Okay yeah i do understand that she was going through alot with her mother dying and Spoon being gone but she could have atleast thougth smartly about wat she was doing instead of not thinking and jus doing it. But other then that i liked the book. I just wish that Spoon would have helped or could of stopped Gabby from doing drugs so she wouldnt have thrown good things out of the window.
